We’re in the last weekend at Ward Warehouse, following 27 wonderful years here.  Here’s a youtube clip of the shop.

Our first neighbors to leave in the most recent migration were Ming and George from the Liquor Collection. As we prepare for our closing party here and opening celebration at the Hyatt, it’s almost habit to check in with Ming and see what she has that’s delicious, but she and George are in North Dakota now. Thank you Ming and George for your friendship over these many years, and all the yummy beverages!
Brue and the Wedding Cafe and Cinnamon Girl left an oversized hole where their vibrant conviviality and beauty were before.  We miss them but will see them both very soon!
In other news, Maui artist Diana Lehr’s viral video, A Midsummer Night’s Dream is up to almost 15,000,000 views, since she posted it earlier this month: http://bit.ly/2tVbbAJ

It’s racked up millions more views on other sites. It aired on ABC News and Good Morning America.

You can see it, along with her other videography on her website www.DianaLehr.com

Her paintings are available at Nohea Gallery at Ward through Sunday and will be at Nohea Gallery’s new Hyatt Regency location after August 6th.  They are stunningly beautiful.

The newest artist to show his work at Nohea is Robert McGuire.  Robert is an editor full time, and fortunately continues making original art of singular beauty.  His paintings can be found on our website and will be moving to the Hyatt with us as well.

Our new address is

We’re right next door to Kai Coffee, an excellent place to stop for a very good cup of coffee or tea of your choice.  Neighbors are such a wonderful part of any community…looks like we got lucky once again, as they are wonderful people.
We are continuing to seek a home that will be convenient for our local guests, who’ve kept us busy and thriving.  We will always be grateful for your support and look forward to being there for you again soon.  Meanwhile we do plan to validate parking at the Hyatt with purchase, details coming soon!
The store-wide 10% off sale is continuing through our closing on Sunday at 5 pm, with selected discontinued goodies 60% off.
Mahalo nui loa for being a part of this community~
