Aloha all,

We’re celebrating Earth Day with recycled and repurposed tree limbs made into beautiful calabashes, bowls, cutting boards, and pens!

Carl Sherry’s newest creations of local repurposed woods are just being uploaded here today.

Jen Homcy’s newest delivery of mango, ohai (aka local monkeypod trees,) and milo are a useful  and beautiful repurposed use of trimmed trees too.

Andy Cole visited us the other day and shared some of his insights about making turned woodwork, and the joy he gets making something beautiful from repurposed and reclaimed wood otherwise headed to the landfill.  Mahalo nui Andy!

Today makes 9365 days that Nohea Gallery has been honoring the planet; 9365 days with no plastic bags, ever.

Thank you for being a part of this community of artists, collectors, appreciators and folks who kokua as they can.  Have a joyful and beautiful Earth Day!
