Watch the woodturners live in action demonstrating on multiple lathes, and meet the artists at our opening party. Raise a glass (and a chopstick) to the Honolulu Woodturners with us!
The date is not yet set, but will be in the summer.
From their website, http://honoluluwoodturners.org: “The purpose of the club is to share ideas and techniques involved in woodturning and to challenge members to improve their creativity and execution in woodturning.
Membership in the Honolulu Woodturners is open to anyone with an interest in woodturning. If you are thinking about giving woodturning a try, even if you don’t own a lathe, you are encouraged to attend a meeting. Sharing ideas and knowledge is the lifeline for all woodturners. Our desire is to provide something for each member whether a novice or experienced turner.”
100% of sales of donation pieces will benefit Hawaii Literacy. If you can’t make
it, you can get a glimpse via twitter @Noheagallery, on facebook at Nohea Ward Warehouse, and right here at Noheagallery.com
