About the Artist

Stephanie Sachs has always been a seeker. After art school Sachs hopped on a seeking adventure and found a home on Maui. Sachs brings the same sense of adventure into my studio, where she lets go of her plans and trusts the process to bring surprises.

Sachs paints radical joy in the form of abstract landscape paintings, where she tells stories celebrating the sublime power of nature and the mysteries of life. Her paintings immerse the viewer in a dreamy world filled with multicolor caverns, misty rains, sweeping seas, and twinkling skies. The viewer is invited to explore a range of emotions from mediative to exuberant.

Stephanie Sachs has a BFA from Washington University in St. Louis. She has been a resident at the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture. Sachs’ oil paintings are in collections across the world. She has shown in Chelsea, New York, Miami, and Palm Springs. Sachs currently shows at the Four Seasons in Wailea Maui. In 2022 Sachs was selected for the West Coast edition of New American Paintings.
