About the Artist

Nick Hunsinger is an award winning Honolulu-based multimedia artist, designer, and craftsperson.

Known for his creative engineering skills, Nick works with businesses throughout the islands to create bespoke works of art that are functional and enhance each brand’s unique vision.He was an in-house designer for a Hawaii surf company designing t-shirts, print and web materials as well as designing and building furniture for its retail stores.

Other clients include KAI Vodka and ArcLight Cinemas. He designs and produces furniture and household items as well as had experience in construction.

An avid scuba diver, he started a business building high powered underwater flashlights for cave and technical diving which led him into digital production techniques including CNC milling and 3D printing. He is knowledgeable in a variety of different construction techniques ranging from traditional woodworking and joinery to computer aided design and metal working.
