About the Artist
Nadja was born and raised in East-Berlin. She grew up in a family of critical thinkers not very fond of the East-German regime. So the day the Berlin Wall came down was one of the best days of her life. Working as a Librarian she felt the need to improve her English. She started traveling and found her way to Hawai’i. She loved the islands from first sight and came back every year. Finally she met the love of her life here, got married and moved. Hawai’i is dazzling for her. She loves the flora and fauna. Her work is inspired by the beautiful nature that is surrounding her here as well as by the unique way of life in the islands.
