Any job posts on Linkedin, Ziprecruiter or Indeed are fraud attempts.
We have never needed personal assistants; neither “Paul Nohea” nor any of the other fake names has any relation to our company whatsoever. They are frauds.
Do not take the bait! It is distressing to read his letters offering “employment” under our logo which our co-founder drew with her own hand 35 years ago this summer.
We are working with local and federal law enforcement on this situation and have learned that this is happening to companies large and small nationwide including big chains and small family businesses like us. Please contact the authorities in your area if you have received a check from this person or organization. Please know those checks have proven to be no good. If they ask you to receive or ship packages for them, you should know that the contents may very well be illegal drugs! No amount of money they pretend to give you is enough to go to prison. And please know it gets pulled out of your account again when the bank finds out it is a fraudulent check…obviously.
PLEASE, do not share your Social Security Number. Donʻt be a victim.
