Aaron Hammer is a member of the Honolulu Woodturners and lives with his wife Casey, who is also an artist, and their daughter on O’ahu. Aaron has made woodturning his profession, having worked with Jerry Kermode early on, and continues to develop and perfect his classic style.
Aaron is known for sturdy traditional Hawaiian style bowls that are beautifully finished, as well as contemporary natural edge and experimental shapes. His bowls feel substantial but never too heavy and are very satisfying to hold.
This is a very small group of work, and more is available in the shop. These bowls are subject to prior sale in the gallery. Please let us know if you would like photos of more work than has been posted here and we will happily send them to you.
Enjoy!
