Fabienne Blanc grew up in the South of France. She then attended the University of Nice and Beaux Arts in Toulon.
In the early 1990’s Fabienne returned to Hawaii with her then husband Russell Lowrey, who is also a painter of Hawaiian scenes. Fabienne has moved from Hawaii to the south of France in Six Fours les Plages, but she returns to Hawaii frequently and continues to be interested in painting local plant life in her inimitable style of realism.
Fabienne combines watercolor and watercolor pencils on highest quality archival heavy watercolor papers. As a result, this achieves greater detail and color in her work.
