About the Artist

Jorden was born on O’ahu and has been drawing his whole life. He started off filling sketchbooks with pencil and ink drawings before eventually taking his passion digitally.

While at Hofstra University in New York, Jorden decided to take his hobby more seriously. At college, he studied Graphic Design and Computer Science while self teaching himself Concept Art. After buying his first tablet in 2017, he has been learning the Ins and Outs of digital art since then.

Growing up in Hawai’i has led to a love and appreciation for nature. Jorden enjoys taking inspiration from the world around him, whether that is the beautiful plants of the islands or the impressive architecture of the cities.

This piece of the Ko’olau Mountains is a departure from his usual art style, which is rooted more in fantasy and science fiction.
